Rawang Spring: Kapur Trees in full bloom at Rawang Bypass

Good evening Broccoli Hills. 🥦🌼🥦 . Chanced upon a gorgeous spring phenomenon unfolding right now at the hills around Rawang Bypass. At first we thought the leaves were drying up, but closer inspection using the drone revealed that the yellow patches are FLOWERS. Hills after hills of them! 😍😱 So I was told that these are Kapur trees, a critically endangered plant, which explains why the Rawang bypass needed to snake its way around this precious Malaysian heritage. 🌳🇲🇾🌳 I wish there is a trek that can bring us closer to the base to allow us a chance to witness the crown shyness magic ✨✨✨
