Inside this botanic garden, you can find various unique flowers such as the Cannon Ball Tree (Couropita Guanensis) and the large buttress roots of the Sengkuang Tree (Dracantamelon dao). Look out for the Pinang Palm (Areca Catechu) that lent its name to the island of Penang. Besides, you can also found the wildlife inhabiting the gardens. Commonly seen are the long-tailed Macaques, Dusky Leaf Monkeys. Please Respect plants and animals here especially don't feed the monkeys and don't eat as you walk because monkeys love food and they like to snatch it from you.
