George Town and Penang Hill | 2.5 hours hike | Road Trip Malaysia in 9 days!

On our 3rd day of the road trip around Malaysia we went to Penang Island and visited George Town. The next day we hiked Penang Hill. It was a 2.5 hours hike... totally worth it. The view is impressive and we were very proud to have walked all the way up. George Town in Penang is the multicultural capital of the Malaysian island of Penang. There is street art all over the walls and murals. Penang hill train is another option to reach the top (funicular). We decided to hike. It is a beginer/intermediate hike. Take water with you and snacks to eat on the way. Some people go by bycicle too.
