More economic sectors can also reopen in all phases of our National Recovery Plan, as soon as half of the adult population in each state are fully vaccinated.
As of 16 August 2021, more than 47% of our adult population are fully vaccinated. We are on track to fully vaccinate more than 50% by the end of August, 70% in September and 100% of the adult population by the end of October.
The vaccine does not make you immune to the virus, but it lessens your chances of getting sick, hospitalised and dying. The likelihood of you getting infected and transmitting it to others is much reduced if you are vaccinated. And recent studies show that all of our vaccines are working against the new Delta variant. Vaccines are also vital to counter new coronavirus variants.
If you live in Klang Valley and you’re still waiting for an appointment date, you can now walk in to any of the 10 vaccination centers for your jab until the 22nd of August. DETAILS: https://twitter.com/JKJAVMY/status/14...
