Makam Diraja Mahmoodiah
Makam Diraja Mahmoodiah or the Mahmoodiah Royal Mausoleum is a Royal Mausoleum of Johor. The first Sultan of Johor buried at this Royal Mausoleum was Sultan Abu Bakar in 1895, the same year the mausoleum was constructed.

Makam Diraja Mahmoodiah or the Mahmoodiah Royal Mausoleum is a Royal Mausoleum of Johor. It is located at Mahmoodiah Hill which is less than five kilometres by road from the Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple and about one to three kilometres by road from the Sultanah Aminah Hospital.
The first Sultan of Johor buried at this Royal Mausoleum was Sultan Abu Bakar in 1895, the same year the mausoleum was constructed. The architecture of this mausoleum is a combination of Victorian, Moorish and local Malay designs.
Other luminaries who were buried there include Dato’ Onn Jaafar who was the founder of UMNO (1962) and his father, Dato’ Jaafar bin Mohammad, the first Menteri Besar of Johor (1919).
