WS – Mini Moon Jar Workshop

This focused half-day workshop is designed for students with prior wheel-throwing experience who are looking to refine their technique and explore new forms. You’ll work with 1.5kg of clay, practise spiral wedging, and learn to throw on a hump—an efficient method for making small forms. Walk away with your very own mini moon jar to take home and enjoy.

In this workshop, you will learn to:

  1. spiral wedge clay for improved control and consistency;

  2. centre 1.5kg – 3kg of clay confidently;

  3. throw on a hump for small-form making; and

  4. make and take home  1 mini moon jar.

This workshop is intended as a skill enhancement session and is not suitable for complete beginners.

Prerequisite

Some wheel throwing experience.
