World Sight Day 2024 Theme: "Children, Love Your Eyes"

On October 19th and 20th, 2024, St. Nicholas' Home, Penang, will host World Sight Day at the Atrium, Level 1, Gurney Paragon Mall. This event aims to highlight the importance of protecting our eyes and vision, raise awareness of vision impairment and blindness, and promote eye and vision care.

Event Details:

October 19, 2024:

Our event partner, the General Hospital Ophthalmology Department, will conduct free regular eye check-ups from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. These check-ups are vital for preventing vision loss and emphasize the significance of early detection.
The Timur Laut District Health Office will also offer free basic health screenings from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

October 20, 2024:

Join us for a Blood Donation Campaign from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Additionally, our event partner, Optimax Eyes Specialist Penang, will provide free glaucoma eye check-ups from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
