Lord Teach Us to Pray: The Lord’s Prayer

God is a willing listener, inviting us to pray and receive His

blessings as we offer up our petitions and thanksgiving

to Him. In teaching us how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13,

Jesus emphasizes our relationship with our Heavenly Father and His

desire for us to focus on His will and plan. He reminds us of God’s

providence and our need for forgiveness while recognizing our

moral responsibility to resist temptation as we look to Him to

deliver us from the evil one. Come learn how to pray so you can

stay strong through the trials and temptations of life
