How and When to Tell Your Kids About Sex

Our children are constantly flooded with messages about

sex through movies, music, and the internet.

Yet, it remains one of the hardest topics for parents to discuss

with their own children. How can parents provide meaningful

guidance amid a culture that often distorts or trivializes sex? When

is the right time to start the conversation, and how can such a

sensitive, awkward topic be introduced wisely? Back by demand,

this course—based on the award-winning book by Stan and

Brenna Jones—equips parents with practical strategies, tools,

and insights for age-appropriate discussions. Ultimately, sex

education is less about information and more about intentional

character formation.

The School of Christian Growth (SCG) is the education arm of Calvary Church that

provides systematic Bible teaching with emphasis on the practical application of the Word.

Courses are offered through the Life Groups, Open Sessions and SCG classes.

This is to help you choose courses appropriate to your personal growth and

development.

General

Course suitable for believers of all ages and levels of growth.

Level 1 For new believers and those who have been Christians for less than

3 years. It is also for those who may have been believers longer but have

not had the opportunity to receive systematic Bible teaching.

Level 2 For those who have been believers for more than 3 years, have a good

understanding of the Word and are seeking to be equipped for service

and church ministry involvement.
