[01] COURSE INTRODUCTION
Workplace safety is not just a legal obligation but a moral responsibility of every organization. This 1-day training is designed to equip participants with foundational knowledge of Malaysia’s Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, the Factories
and Machinery Act (FMA) 1967, and the key components of an effective Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) management system.
It is also an effective refresher training for certified Occupational Safety & Health Coordinators (OSH-C).
The training emphasizes practical understanding of workplace hazards, risk assessment methodologies, and essential control measures through the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) framework. With real-world insights and interactive discussions, participants will gain the knowledge and confidence to contribute to a safer and more compliant work environment.
[02] COURSE OUTCOMES
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
• Understand the fundamental requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA) and Factories and Machinery Act 1967 (FMA)

[07] TRAINER PROFILE
FAIZ ZAIRULLAIL
HRD CORP Accredited Trainer, Safety & Health Officer, Traffic Mnagement Officer, Construction Safety Health Officer, Lead Auditor.
Faiz Zairullail holds a diploma in Biomedical Engineering . He is a competent Safety and Health Officer registered with DOSH and involved in occupational safety and health field for 10 years in various industries in both SME and Oil & Gas industry. He is also a NIOSH certified Train the Trainer and HRDF registered trainer.
He started his careers in the field of occupational safety and health as an EHS Coordinator in medical engineering industry and then advanced his career as Site Safety Supervisor in a O&G Refinery Constrution (Petronas). After that, he expand his career as SHE Executive at Solar Manufacturing Industry.
While working as a SHE executive, his application to register as competent Safety and Health Officer was approved by DOSH. He then further advances his career by joining Building Construction Industry (TNB) as Safety & Health Officer and afterwards he was expanding his experience and knowledge. He was appointed to the position of Senior Safety and Health Officer at New Towship Project .
At present, he is holding the position OSH Consultant for several project and and OSH Trainer for OSH Training conducted by OSH Training Provider.
