[01] INTRODUCTION
First Aiders are required in organisation as compliance on Section 15(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (Act 514). The 2 days Occupational First Aid & CPR Training Course is customized to train the average workers or layperson to become a qualified First Aider. The participants will be taught on basic life support skill such as CPR & Choking and other first aid related topics such as bleeding & wounds, burn & scald, fracture & spinal injuries. The program consists of theory presentation, practical session and live demonstration of wound management to equip the participants not only knowledge, but also the skill to handle various emergencies.

[07] TRAINER PROFILE
PN TEW
- BLS, ACLS (AHA), HRDCorp Accredited Trainer
Tew received her Diploma in Paramedic from Windfield International College in 2019. During the course, she completed her clinical practical attachment with First Ambulance Service Headquarters in Selangor with collaboration to many private hospitals like Pantai Hospital, Prince Court Medical Centre, Gleneagles Hospital, Tropicana Medical Centre (now known as Thomson Hospital), and Falck Organization. Working with professional ambulance team members who strict- ly comply with the international standard protocol, the best possible care was provided to the patients.
Subsequently, she was attached to the highly regarded Yayasan St. John Ambulans Malaysia Kawasan Pantai Selangor Ambulance Service, Klang, Selangor, which held top records like “the longest running ambulance services”, “most numbers of ambulance fleet”, “first bariatric ambulance” (Malaysia Book of Records). The organization also has collaboration with the Ministry of Health and standby for 999 emergency calls.
Tew also did a stint with Ambulance Department of Malaysian Red Crescent Society Headquarters for more than 2 years with similar collaboration with the Ministry.
Tew is a qualified Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) provider, certified by American Heart Association (AHA), and a HRD Corp TTT Certified Trainer.
