Ani Choying Drolma 阿尼·琼英卓玛
Ani Choying Drolma, a Nepalese Buddhist singer of Tibetan origin, is renowned for bringing the beauty and peace of Tibetan Buddhist chants and feast songs to international audiences. Born in Kathmandu in 1972, her musical journey began at Nagi Gompa nunnery, where she received traditional training from the resident chant master.

Ani Choying's voice rose to prominence through her collaboration with guitarist Steve Tibbetts, resulting in acclaimed albums like "Chö" and "Selwa." Her music is known for its heartwarming presence, soothing chants, and peaceful energy. 

Beyond music, Ani Choying is a passionate humanitarian.  She is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Nepal, advocating for education, healthcare, and children's rights.  Her autobiography, "Singing for Freedom," translated into 14 languages, is a testament to her inspiring life story. 

Her dedication to music and social causes has even been captured in the recent documentary film "Ani Choying Drolma: Mission Impossible" (2023), which chronicles her tireless efforts to help those in need.

阿尼琼英卓玛是一位尼泊尔籍藏族佛教女尼，以其美妙的歌声将藏传佛教的咒语和宴歌介绍给国际观众，广受赞誉。1972 年出生于加德满都的她，音乐之旅始于纳吉寺，在那里她师从寺院的诵经大师接受了传统训练。因与吉他手史蒂夫·蒂贝茨合作而广为人知，他们共同创作了广受好评的专辑《卓》和《雪瓦》。此后，她通过精彩的表演和众多个人专辑（例如《片刻的喜悦》和《微笑》）俘获了全世界观众的心。她的音乐以其令人心旷神怡的存在、舒缓的诵唱和祥和的能量而著称。

Imee Ooi 黃慧音 (FRSA)

Malaysian music producer, composer, arranger and vocalist. Founder of IMM Musicworks in 1997, Imee Ooi has now released more than 50 albums of her own, and has produced countless musical works for Buddhist societies and organizations around the world.  

A devout Buddhist, Imee’s serenely pure voice and unique sense of musical arrangements has established her own genre, spreading the sounds of Dharma through Sutras, Mantras, and free composition that has transcended religious barriers and touched different cultures and age groups. Her music has travelled around the world,  soothing and calming many hearts. Imee’s works have also been regarded as a significant milestone in the development of Buddhist music.  

With a wide range of composition sung in many different languages including Sanskrit, Pali, Mandarin, Tibetan, Japanese, English and Cantonese, “The Chant of Metta”,  “Om Mani Padme Hum”,  “The Great Compassion Mantra” ,  “ The Prajna Paramita Hrdaya Sutra ” are among some of Imee’s most praised works. Imee is also the composer and music director of many Buddhist content musicals. 

To spread The Dharma through music has become the life destiny of Imee Ooi.

制作人/编导/作曲/编曲/演唱者，1997年成立“愿愿音乐”，27年以来共创作了50张佛乐专辑。作品有中文、梵文、巴利文、藏文、日文，英文，粤语等语言唱诵佛经咒乐系列，慧音的《慈经》、《心经》、《金刚经》、《六字大明咒》等，已经成为她的国际代表作。慧音洁净纯朴的嗓音及独特灵性的编乐，被肯定为新世纪佛乐的模范，甚受中西方各文化阶层甚至不同宗教听众的赞叹。

一个有使命感的音乐人，带领一群音乐艺术团队，演绎佛曲梵音，一如生命的轮回生生不息，持续给人间净化着。

Sam Poh Thong Buddhist Education Foundation
Sam Poh Thong Temple (Ampang), under the leadership of Venerable Sing Kan, has established the Sam Poh Thong Buddhist Education Foundation (Private) (the "Foundation").

The trustees of the Foundation are:

• Venerable Sek Kai Sau (Poh Lum Fatt Yuen)
• Venerable Sek Kai Mun (Poh Lum Fatt Yuen)
• Venerable Sing Kan (Sam Poh Thong Temple)

OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the Foundation are to promote (i) further and higher Buddhist education,  (ii) Dharma education and (iii) spiritual education training to the Sangha and laypeople.

MISSION
The 21st century is an era of rapid change and challenges, and people have lost values such as truth, goodness, beauty, compassion, and fear of cause and effect. The Buddha's emphasis on the purification and elevation of the human mind has become increasingly important.

The Foundation's mission is to promote the Buddha's education through the following two aspects: 

• To provide Buddhist education workers with Buddhist qualifications recognised by world-renowned Buddhist universities and colleges. To enable them to be qualified to teach and propagate the Dharma.
• To assist individuals to live meaningful lives in a balance between material and spiritual aspects. 

CULTIVATION
The Foundation collaborates with Vidyacarana Buddhist Resource (VBR) in Malaysia to provide facilities and resources for VBR to offer Buddhist studies courses. Since 2023, VBR has offered Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies courses in Chinese and English medium through its collaboration with the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka. The first batch of 6 English medium students will graduate in 2024. 

In the future, with the support of the Foundation, VBR will offer more courses, including those from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka. 

The Foundation has already funded Sangha and laypeople to pursue Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies degrees or take individual subjects from the Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies programme.

 《目的》
此基金會的目的是向僧伽和居士推廣（i）高等和後續佛學教育（ii）佛法教育（iii）覺悟身心靈教育培訓​。

21世紀是一個無常變化迅速和充滿挑戰的時代，許多人在盲目追求物質利益之下逐漸迷失了對真善美、慈悲、因果觀等的認知和守護。佛陀提倡的人心淨化和提昇在此刻是急迫需要的生命教育和修行。 

基金會的使命通過以下兩方來提昇佛陀的教育: 

1. 為佛教教育工作者提供受世界著名佛學高等大專學府認可的佛學資格。讓他們具備佛法教學和弘法資格認証。
2. 協助個人平衡物質和身心靈的生命。  

《培育》
基金與馬來西亞明行學處（Vidyacarana Buddhist Resource）合作，提供設備和資源讓明行學處開辦佛學課程。從2023年開始，明行學處通過與斯裡蘭卡凱拉尼亞大學的合作，開辦了中文和英文媒介文學碩士（佛學）課程。首批六位英文媒介的學生將在2024年畢業。

在未來基金會的支持下，明行學處將提供更多的課程，其中包括斯裡蘭卡哥倫坡大學的課程。 

基金會至今已經資助衆多位僧伽和居士進修文學碩士(佛學)學位或單科選讀文學碩士(佛學)中的科目。
