“ GENDER REALITY ” - An Expressive Performance through Ropes
Blur the lines of the binary gender expression with a flow of rope art performance by Lisa & female model K - where Shibari meets performance art in this expressive tangle of emotions, melting the walls between art and reality, illuminates your sensory perceptions.

Artist Profile

Lisa uses rope to express her political & societal observations. She is the Mereka Hub’s 2024 winner of Upcoming Artist, featured at House of Alternative Arts with her installation titled “The Resonance”, in a collaboration with award-winning photojournalist Nicky Almasy in “Ties That Bind Us”, a mini-documentary, set for release later this year and most recently can be seen on Astro Original’s “The Great Resonance 名門” Ch. 306.

All levels of drawing experience are welcome. This is not a class. A facilitator will be there to guide you if needed.

This is an untutored session ideal for beginners through to experienced artists, all are welcome. The ticket price includes FREE flow of non-alcoholic drinks and snacks (welcome BYOB).

How to find us

Our studio is in the same row as Pos Malaysia and 7-11, three houses away in the middle. The exterior looks like a white mansion. Don't worry about parking, we've reserved it for you.
