On August 28, 2020, Malaysia’s Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced that the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO),which started on June 10,2020 till August 31, 2020 will be extended until December 31, 2020. With the extension of RMCO period, enforcement action under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 or Act 342 could still be taken.
