In this course, you’ll discover the secrets of crafting side plates evolving into elegant dinner plates. Perfect your centering technique and become adept at centering 1kg of clay using the coning method. Experiment with shaping two distinct plate forms and delve into the art of tap centering method during trimming for a well-rounded pottery experience.
In this course, you will learn to:
1) make side plates using 300- 500gm clay;
2) apply basic plate making techniques to making larger pieces;
3) center 1kg of clay using the coning technique;
4) apply tap centering technique to trimming and
5) glaze using 1 technique.
Prerequisite
You must have attended our basic courses or have similar experience with working with minimum 750gms of clay before.
