This hands-on workshop is designed for tea lovers and pottery beginners alike. In this session, you’ll create your own handmade matcha mixing bowl, along with a cup and whisk holder to complete a thoughtful and functional set.

What You’ll Learn:

• Basic hand-building techniques: pinching and slab pinching

• How to form and refine functional pottery pieces

• Options for decorating your pieces with stamping and painting

• Glaze choices

What You’ll Make:

• One matcha mixing bowl

• One cup

• One whisk holder

Finishing: You may choose to decorate your set with slip/ underg lazepainting and stamps during the class, or simply select your preferred glaze color from our studio palette. We will glaze and fire your pieces for you.

Take Home: Your finished, food-safe matcha set will be ready for pickup in approximately 4-5 weeks.

Note: Please allow time for drying, bisque firing, glazing, and glaze firing. We will notify you when your works are ready for collection.

This workshop is suitable for all skill levels.
