The Penang Hill funicular service will shut down for the second biannual scheduled maintenance from 12am on July 1 to 11.59pm on July 5.

Visitors can opt for the private jeep service from Penang Botanic Gardens, or hiking routes to reach the top of Penang Hill during this time.
