Introducing Penang Pening Part 2: Communal Table by gēn 根. Meet Chef Kevin Ng - born in Perlis, his extensive travels and experiences in the U.S Virgin Islands, Dubai and the Maldives have fueled his love for cooking, discovering different food cultures, new flavours and experiences. Now based in Penang, he leads the team at Communal Table by gēn 根, focusing on comfort food designed to be shared with family and friends, a reflection of our Malaysian dining culture.
The curated menu for Penang Pening Part 2 by gēn 根 will showcase the beauty of Malaysia's locally grown produces and their distinctive flavours in the form of sharing plates. Think local flavours like kelulut honey, sea grapes, ginger flower, and cat's ear biscuits. Plus, each item on the menu will be priced at only RM20 each!
MoMo-oke sessions are also in - so choose from an array of the greatest hits and release your inner superstar. Round up your friends and make it a fun day out with us!
