Masterclasses Led by this year’s choreographers and artists, the festival offers a range of classes for participants of all levels, covering contemporary and traditional dance, creative exploration, and physical aesthetics.

Since 2013, d’Motion has been committed to presenting a series of high-quality dance workshops aimed at nurturing the growth and development of Malaysia’s dance scene. Following the overwhelming response to the inaugural 10 dance masterclasses, the 2025 edition will expand to feature 20 dynamic workshops!

This year’s line-up brings together acclaimed contemporary dance artists from Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, the UK, and Malaysia. These artists will not only present compelling performances but also lead masterclasses to share their unique techniques, styles, and artistic insights.

More than just a platform for skill-building, these workshops offer a rare opportunity to connect with internationally renowned dancers, gain inspiration from their creative journeys, and delve into the spirit and philosophy of contemporary dance-making and performance.
